The angiosperm has evolved from gymnosperm by closing the ovule in ovary.
Explanation:
- The angiosperm is a advance group than the gymnosperms. Naked ovules in the gymnosperms are enclosed into the ovary in angiosperms. This advancement helps the survival and dispersal of seeds to the remote places.
- The vascular bundles area also more efficient in the angiosperms compared to the gymnosperms due to presence of efficient xylem vessels, tracheids, sieve tubes, companion cells etc. Thank you
