This is explain by experiment of alpha particle which is given by RUTHERFORD

Explanation:

As we known electron phases no mass or negligible and volume so alpha particles are passes through it without bending. But nucleus of atom phases neutron and proton which have volume and mass both so alpha particles bend or even at 180degree.
