Atomic radius generaly decreases as we move from left to right.

Explanation:

The radius of Noble gases is the greatest as :

vanderwall radius>metallic radius>covalent radius

As we move from left to right, the effective nuclear charge(Z_(eff))
increases but there is no change in shielding effect(sigma) of electrons as they are added to the outermost shell of atom.Hence the nucleus pulls the electrons closer to itself decreasing the atomic radius
