Ozone#(O_3)# is very salient because it filters most of the Ultraviolet(UV) radiations coming from the sun.

  • UV rays cause increase in skin cancer.
  • They also cause cataract in human eye.
  • They cause increase in temperature.
  • They also affect crops, plants, trees and even marine plankton.
  • They also distort weather patterns.
