Viewed from above, the passenger would appear to be running in a path that would form a decaying spiral from the outside edge of the rotating platform to the center.


This path would be in contrast to the straight line path from the outside edge to the center pole that the passenger would make on a stationary platform.

Because the platform is in motion, the passenger's motion as observed from a fixed point would be re-defined by the combination of the two motions taking place at the same time.
