There are a lot of hormones secreted by pituitary gland.

Explanation:

Pituitary gland or hypophysis cerebri is an ovoid structure which contain three lobes i.e anterior, median and posterior.
Anterior lobe secrete primary hormones which influence the secretion of other hormones in other endocrine glands. Due to which pituitary gland is also known as Master gland.
Now let's have a look at hormones produced by three lobes:

#bb("Hormones of Anterior Lobe")#

  • Somatotrophin Hormone #(STH)#

  • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone #(TSH)#

  • Adrenocorticotrophic Hormone#(ACTH)#

  • Gonadotrophic Hormones #to# Follicle Stimulating Hormone#(FSH)#, Luteinizing Hormone #(LH)#, Interstitial Cell Stimulating Hormone#(ICSH)# and Prolactin.

#bb("Hormone of Median Lobe")#

  • Melanophore Stimulating Hormone

#bb("Hormones of Posterior Lobe")#

  • Vasopressin also known as Antidiuretic Hormone#(ADH)#

  • Oxytocin

Hope it helps....
