# A circuit with a resistance of 8 Omega has a fuse with a capacity of 3 A. Can a voltage of 15 V be applied to the circuit without blowing the fuse?

Ohm's Law applies here. The voltage $V$, the current $I$ and the resistance $R$ have the relationship $V = I \cdot R$
Rearranging, $I = \frac{V}{R}$
$I = \frac{15}{8}$ which is $< 2$
