#y=2x-6#

Explanation:

Equation of a line which has #a# as #x#-intercept and #b# as #y#-intercept is

#x/a+y/b=1#

Hence equation of line which has #3# as #x#-intercept and #-6# as #y#-intercept is

#x/3+y/(-6)=1#

or #2x-y=6#

i.e. #y=2x-6#, which is in slope intercept form.
