$= \left(60 + 98\right) = 158 N$
Net force on the body = its mass(m)$\times$acceleration (a)
$5 k g \times 12 m {s}^{-} 2 = 60 N$
Horce of friction = coefficient of friction$\left(\mu\right) \times$ Nomalreaction $m g$
$= 2 \times 5 \times 9.8 = 98 N$
So necessary force to be applied $= \left(60 + 98\right) = 158 N$
