Start by graphing the graph of $y = 2 x + 1$ $y = 2x + 1$ , but only on $(- \infty, - 3)$ $(-oo, -3)$ . That's to say there will be a hole at $(- 3, - 5)$ $(-3, -5)$ .

Now draw the graph of $y = 4 x + 1$ $y = 4x + 1$ on $x \geq - 3$ $x ≥ -3$ . You may include the point $(- 3, - 11)$ $(-3, -11)$ in your graph.
