Fruits are basically divided into simple aggregate and composite type and can be differentiated from one another as explained below

Explanation:

There is no term complex fruits.

Fruits are basically divided into 3 categories:
Simple, aggregate and composite fruits.

You may be confusing term complex fruits for aggregate and composite fruits.

Simple fruits are those which develop from a flower having either monocarpellary or polycarpellary syncarpous pistil. A single fruit develops from a flower, e.g pear, mango, etc.

Aggrgagte fruits are those which develop from a flower having polycarpellary apocarpous pistil. each ovary develops into single simple fruit. All these fruits developing from different ovaries of one flower remain aggregated together to form a single aggreagate fruits. The prefix etaerio- is added to type of simple fruit developing from single ovary. These are etaerio of achenes (e.g Ranunculus, Nelumbium).

Composite fruits are those which develop from the whole inflorescence. Thus a single fruits deveolop from many flowers (inflorescence), e.g Mulberry, anjeer, etc.
