x^3 + x^2 + 4x + 4

We can make groups of two to factorise this expression:
(x^3+ x^2) + (4x +4)

x^2 is common to both the terms in the first group, and 4 is common to both the terms in the second group

We can write the expression as :
x^2(x+1) +4(x+1)
=color(green)((x^2 +4 )(x+1)
