# How do you factor x^3 + x^2 + 14x - 24x ?

${x}^{3} + {x}^{2} + \textcolor{red}{14 x - 24 x}$
this was probably the tricky part, realizing it said 24$\textcolor{red}{x}$ and not just 24
$= {x}^{3} + {x}^{2} - \textcolor{red}{10 x}$
$= x \left({x}^{2} + x - 10\right)$
$= x \left(x - 4\right) \left(x + 5\right)$
