If $A x + B y + C = 0$
Then $S l o p e = - \frac{A}{B}$, x-intercept$= - \frac{C}{A}$ and y-intercept$= - \frac{C}{B}$.

$4 x + 8 y = - 64$
$\implies 4 x + 8 y + 64 = 0$
$\implies x + 2 y + 16 = 0$

Here $A = 1 , B = 2 \mathmr{and} C = 16$

$\implies S l o p e = - \frac{1}{2}$, x-intercept$= - \frac{16}{1} = - 16$ and y-intercept$= - \frac{16}{2} = - 8$

$\implies S l o p e = - \frac{1}{2}$, x-intercept$= - 16$ and y-intercept$= - 8$
