How do you find the slope and intercept of #y = 10 + 3x#?
The equation of a line in the form
#color(blue)" y = mx + c " #
where m represents the gradient (slope) and c the y-intercept is useful as m and c can be extracted directly.
the equation here is almost in this form
as y = 10 + 3x is the same as y = 3x + 10
from y = 3x + 10 → slope = 3 and y-intercept = 10
