This is a direct variation equation. The equation is: y= ax , where a is the slope. In your equation, the a, or slope is 1. Just substitute for x and you can also make table. graph{x [-10, 10, -5, 5]}
Since it is direct variation, it passes through 0. This is very important. Since the slope is 1, you can also just graph the easy way by rise 1, run 1.
