How do you graph the inequality #y > x + 9#?

First graph #y=x+9#

(Just use x and y intercepts to do so) graph{y=x+9 [-10, 10, -5, 5]}

Now I sub in a point not on the line, let's try (5,1)

This does not match the inequality so it is on the other side of the line. Since the inequality is only > then it's a dotted line.

So it looks like this. graph{y>x+9 [-10, 10, -5, 5]}
