# How do you graph the line y=2?

Sep 1, 2016

see explanation.

#### Explanation:

The line y = 2 , passes through all points in the plane with a y-coordinate equal to 2.
It is therefore parallel to the x-axis.

Plot, for example 3/4 points with a y-coordinate = 2 and draw a straight line through them.

That is (-2 ,2), (0 ,2), (2 ,2) and (4 ,2) as a guide.
