(Parentheses > Exponents > Mult and Div > Add and Subtract)

#(-2c + 3d)(-5) + 3(2c) - (-8d)# is the expression given to us.

We Multiply terms before we perform Addition/Subtraction

# = (-2c*-5) + (3d*-5) + 3(2c) - (-8d)#
( We used the Distributive Property of Multiplication)

# = (10c) + (-15d) + 6c + 8d#

# = 10c - 15d + 6c + 8d#

We group like terms

# = (10c + 6c) + (8d - 15d)#

# = (16c) + (-7d)#
