Use FOIL method and get the following solution $6x^2+x-1$

Use FOIL Method

F- First
O- Outer
I - Inner
L - Last

$(3x-1)(2x+1)$

First terms $(3x)(2x) = 6x^2$
Outer terms $(3x)(+1)=3x$
Inner terms $(-1)(2x) = -2x$
Last terms $(-1)(+1) = -1$
Add all these

$6x^2+3x-2x-1$
$(6x^2+x-1)$

$(3x-1)(2x+1)= 6x^2+x-1$ answer
