Then we expand the brackets

${x}^{2} + 2 x + 1 \left(x + 1\right)$

Finally we multiply out the final bracket

${x}^{3} + {x}^{2} + 2 {x}^{2} + x + 1$

Which is ${x}^{3} + 3 {x}^{2} + x + 1$
