Very nice solution to this problem and I was impressed with the work you did with the fractions. A very common error occurred from line three to line four involving subtraction. Here's the error:
#+161/8 -7 #

# + 161/8 - 56/8 #

# + 105/8# not # - 105/8#

So now the rest of the solution becomes:

# -105/8 + 4 = (21x)/8 - (4x)/5#

#-105/8 +32/8 = (105x)/8 - (32x)/8 #

#-73/8 = (73x)/40#

#-5 = x#
