Move all the terms with #x# to one side, and move the integers to the other side.

Explanation:

#9-9x-5-3x=7#

#9-5-7=9x+3x#

#-3 = 12x#

#x = -1/4#

I think the answer's #x=3.5 or x=7/2#

Explanation:

in the equation you have to inverse the like terms i.e:
#-5 to 7# which is #7+5# after the sign has changed to -5,secondly the other like term is 9 which is -9 it is inversed and changed to#-9 to 12 is 12+9# answer is: #6x=2/6# after being divided by six which is the denominator. #x=3.5#
