$X = \frac{P + B}{T}$ $X=(P+B)/T$

to solve for X means leave X alone on the left-hand side.. So

$T X - B + B = P + B$ $TX-B+B=P+B$
$T X = P + B$ $TX=P+B$

$T \frac{X}{T} = \frac{P + B}{T}$ $TX/T= (P+B)/T$
$X = \frac{P + B}{T}$ $X=(P+B)/T$

remember: while solving equations, what you do to one side, you should do the same to the other.
