How do you think the Harding administration viewed the role of America in worid affairs?
They stood for a more isolationist stance
The Wilson Administration had shown a great amount of interventionism by having the USA join WWI which was a break with the Isolationist past. The Harding administration simply went backwards by ending this kind of interference which the Republican administrations that followed perpetuated (Coolidge, Hoover). The twenties are indeed known for embodying a revival of Isolationism.
