Mary Harris's political contribution were huge in term of organized labor. She helped organized and set up protest for mainly coal miners. She also took part in helping protest the lack of child labor laws in silk mills. So to cap off, she was a huge influence in terms of unionizing and organized labor. She was once labeled "The Most Dangerous Woman in America." Mother Jones magazine was also named after her in 1976.
