How do you write down all possible values of y given -8<=2y<3 and y is an integer?

We first reduce this to an inequality in just $y$

Explanation:

Divide everthing by $2$:
$- 4 \le y < 1 \frac{1}{2}$

This leaves all integer values between $- 4 \mathmr{and} + 1 \frac{1}{2}$
So $y = - 4 , - 3 , - 2 , - 1 , 0 , 1$

Note that $- 4$ is included because of the $\le$
