I would say wall.. or that's what I prefer.

Explanation:

First of all, what is activation energy?

Activation Energy is the minimum amount of energy needed for a chemical system with reactants, so a chemical reaction can occur.

What I imagine is this tall wall between me and reactants. I have to gather enough energy, so I can shoot the arrow with my bow over the wall to this let's say "pool" of reactants that needs a spark caused by my arrow to actually react and form products.
