Since two electrons can fit in an orbital and we know that :
s = $2 {e}^{-}$
p = $6 {e}^{-}$
d = $10 {e}^{-}$
f = $14 {e}^{-}$

We can divide each one by 2 (amount of electrons in each shell).

s = 1
p = 3
d = 5
f = 7
