How would you explain cellular respiration in plants?

Cellular respiration takes place in mitochodria.

Explanation:

  1. The cell organell mitochondria are power house of the cells. Like animals, mitochondria are site of cellular respiration in plants.
  2. Although, the exhaling and inhaling mechanisms are absent in plants. In plants exchange the respiratory gases performed through the stomata, lenticells, cuticle etc. Thank you
