If you have an organic molecule, what is the hybridization of a H attached to a C with a single bond?

Hydrogen never hybridizes. It's impossible because it only has one electron, so it can never make more than one bond in normal molecules. It can only contribute a `1s` orbital.

Hydrogen has been known to make hydride bridges in, for instance, `"B"_2"H"_6`.

But regardless, something like `"H"_2"C"="CH"_2` has no hybridization on hydrogen. It, however, has an `sp^2` hybridized carbon. But not hydrogen.
