Probably, yes.


Many energy experts believe that natural gas will be increasingly used compared to oil or coal. Natural gas has fewer greenhouse gas emissions compared to coal or oil. Many countries are now starting to phase out the use of coal for power generation and replacing it with natural gas, which is now quite abundant and relatively cheap. Its harder to replace oil with natural gas as most oil is used for transportation (as gasoline) and although there are some natural gas vehicles, they are not widespread right now.
