Lets multiply by -2 the first equation

#-4x^2-10y^2=-296#
#4x^2-3y^2=244#

Lets sum both equations

#-13y^2=-52#

#y^2=(-52)/-13=4#

Then #y=+-2#

Lets do the substitution in second equ. (for example, if you want the first, go ahead)

#4x^2-3(+-2)^2=244# considering both signs...

#4x^2-12=244#

#4x^2=256#
#x^2=256/4=64#
