Suppose you work in a greenhouse. There has been a huge demand of tomato seedlings, and you need to produce some very quickly. What might you do and why?

see below for some potential strategies that might be attempted.


[1] Attempt to optimize the temperature and length of light periods.

[2] Pre-soak the seeds.

[3] Regulate the fertilizer.

...maybe, as an act of desperation, you could try
[4] Micro-waving the seeds for a brief period of time before planting. (I seem to recall some success with this a few decades back... mainly with grain seeds... in reducing the germination period).
