Cardiac muscle is present only in heart wall and no where else. Skeletal and smooth muscles are distributed in various parts of the body.

Skeletal muscles remain attached to movable bones and these are voluntary muscles. Skeletal muscles remain connected to bones by white connective tissue called tendons .
Smooth muscles are present in the wall of GI tract, urinary bladder, uterus, and other such internal organs including arteries. These are involuntary muscles and may form layers around organs.
