One of the most important cycle in biochemical cycles is carbon cycle. Photosynthesis and respiration are important partners. While consumers emit carbon dioxide, producers (green plants and other producers) process this carbon dioxide to form oxygen.

Another important biochemical cycle is nitrogen cycle. Fixation, nitrification, and denitrification are important parts in this cycle.

Phosphorus cycle is also one example that could be given to biogeochemical cycles. The original starting point of phorphorus cycle is apatite mineral. The soluble ion ortophosphate ends up in insoluble phosphates.
