This can be rewritten as

$f \left(x\right) = \tan x$

Which in turn can be written as

$f \left(x\right) = \sin \frac{x}{\cos} x$

This will be undefined when $\cos x = 0$, aka $x = \frac{\pi}{2} + \pi n$.
