Golgi body is involved in processing a broad range of cellular constituents , that travel along the secretory pathway.
Explanation:
The Golgi body processes several proteins which are received from th Endoplasmic reticulum. These are then sorted and transported to lysosomes , the plasma membrane or secretory granules.
In plant cells , complex polysaccharides are also synthesised in the Golgi complex.
The Golgi body is found in eukaryotic cells. It is a series of membranes shaped like pancakes. This single membrane surrounds an area of fluid where complex molecules are stored and changed.
