Vertex is #(4, -5)#

The graph of #y=x^2-8x+11#
by completing the square
#y=x^2-8x+16-16+11#
#y=(x-4)^2-5#
#y+5=(x-4)^2#

The vertex form
#(x-h)^2=4p(y-k)#

#(x-4)^2=y--5#
