"According to Hofstede's cultural dimensions:
Individualism: loose ties between individuals, everyone looks after one's self
1. focuses on independence
2. focuses on I
3. In- group and out-group communication are similar
4. privacy is valued
5. Equity based rewards (based on proportionality of contribution)
6. low context communication

Collectivism: strong cohesive in-groups which protect individuals in exchange for their loyalty
1. focus on independence
2. focus on we
3. in- group and out-group communication are not equal
4. one is never alone
5. Equality based rewards
6. high context communication"
