Locus of control is the degree to which people belief's over their relationship with the outcomes of the events,
Self-Efficacy views an individual's understanding on one's own potential to do something. "If he believes he can do it, he will really do it"
Locus of control is the degree to which people believe that they have control or no control over the outcome of events in their lives.
Locus of control has two types: Internal and External
Internal Locus of control believes that he or she can influence events and their outcomes views an indiviual's understanding that he has control over any situation, he will be experiencing. "Rain or Shine, I know myself, I will be able to finish this race."
External locus of control blames outside forces for everything. He will likely blame the weather, the traffic, the structural design of the roads or anything he can find and blame, to explain he's outcome. "I lost the race coz it was rainy and slippery."
