Explanation:

  • Mitosis has Prophase, Metaphase , Anaphase and Telophase; Asexual reproduction does not go through all these stages of cell cycle.

  • Mitosis happens only in somatic cells of higher organisms; Asexual reproduction occurs in lower single celled organisms.

  • During Mitosis, the genetic material condenses to form chromosomes; the genetic material does not condense during asexual reproduction.
