# What is the period for y=2 tan(3pi(x) +4)?

I believe $3 \setminus \pi \left(x\right)$ means $3 \setminus \pi x$, this notation doesn't make any other sense to me.
If so, the period must be $\frac{1}{3}$.
We know that the period of $\tan \left(\setminus \theta\right)$ is $\setminus \pi$, and we know that adding a constant and multiply by a constant outside doesn't change the period.
So it must be the same period of $\tan \left(3 \setminus \pi x\right)$, which is trivially $\frac{1}{3}$
