When someone's name ends with an "s" and you want to say something like that pencil case belongs to Jules but you want to shorten that sentence, you place the apostrophe after the "s" but you do not have to add an extra "s" afterwards

ie don't write Jules's pencil case

Instead write Jules' pencil case
