$y = - \frac{3}{5} x - \frac{3}{5}$

Explanation:

To find the equation of a line given m and ( a , b ) a point on the line.

y - b = m(x - a ) , m = $- \frac{3}{5} , \left(a , b\right) = \left(- 1 , 0\right)$

ie y - 0 = $- \frac{3}{5} \left(x + 1\right)$

$\Rightarrow y = - \frac{3}{5} x - \frac{3}{5}$
