Many different forces move water through the water cycle.

Through the different phases of the water cycle different forces act upon water to change its state. Gravity being a predominant force in condensation which falls and collects as ground water. The ground water is possibly then evaporated when it takes in heat from the sun and becomes atmospheric water vapor, which can later condense once more to form clouds or remain in a vapor state.
