You need (i) mass of the baseball, and (ii) volume of the baseball.
Explanation:
So record an accurate mass. Next get a pair of calipers and accurately measure the diameter of the baseball, and halve this value to get the radius,
When you do the experiment, would you please post the results here? I played a lot of cricket in my youth, and I know for a fact that leather bound cricket balls float; I would be interested to compare their density to that of the baseball.
