The workers lived in bad conditions

I am not sure if you are talking about the Pyramids of Giza or the Pyramids in Mexico but I am assuming you are talking about the famous Pyramid of Giza in Giza, Egypt.

The people who built the Pyramid were slaves and slaves live in bad condition. The people who designed it such as engineers had a better lifestyle. The slaves needed to pull a huge brick up to the pyramid and it requires a lot of men to bring one brick to the top.

The living conditions for the slaves were the slaves living in crowded spaces. Surprisingly though, the construction time for the Pyramids was very fast, but the slaves were tired, and basically had a bad life.
