Where do you place the quotation marks/commas?

In what cases do commas go inside quotation marks? ["xxxxx,"]

and in what cases do commas go outside of the quotation marks? ["xxxxx",]

Commas go inside when the speech is interrupted by that person's name and they go outside when you say the name and then speak

Explanation:

Inside: "Hi!," Nena said, "Nice to meet you"

Outside: Nena said, "Hi! Nice to meet you"

It could also be on the inside like this: "Hi! Nice to meet you," said Nena.

When ending pausing, or any punctuation comes into use you must always put it inside. Only out when you say who it is speaking first.
