Explanation:

The gene (DNA) gets turned into a copy of pre-messener RNA (pre-mRNA). This pre-mRNA get spliced by the splicesome (which contains its own RNA, but this is rarely considered part of the process). The processed mRNA then goes to the ribosome where ribosomal RNA (rRNA) and transfer RNA (tRNA) work together to make the protein.
